Moisture meters MODCON EASZ1 et al.
The operation of the EASZ1 flow moisture meter is based on the principle of measuring dielectric strength. The cylindrical sensor is located coaxially inside the pipe, being isolated from it so as to form a coaxial capacitor. The investigated oil product fills the interelectrode space of the capacitor and measures its capacitance, which is proportional to the dielectric coefficient. The measured capacity is converted into a percentage of water.
